Překladatel z angličtiny a francouzštiny. Do roku 1990 uveřejňoval své literární práce pouze v samizdatu. Napsal detektivní trilogii Vražda v devátém taktu, Vražda ve výloze, Vražda s prsty od sádla. Věnoval se překladům z francouzštiny (G. Bataille, J. Gracq) a angličtiny (G. Orwell, P. Johnson).
